The systems are set up to help with research and help business organizations to be more efficient and save on hardware and software that are important in different operations in the company.

Companies in cloud business are geared towards helping the client generate leads using their platforms, drive sales and, increase customer satisfaction by making sure that their concerns are addressed in due time, and products and services meet their standards.

BASIC COMPONENTS OF CLOUD SERVICES

The processing software that is advanced to the customer is usually licensed and is paid for in a subscription.
  2. PaaS (Platform as a Service). This model provides a framework for developers to customize, test and deploy web-based applications. The middleware that is used in this model is delivered through the web thus giving the content developers freedom to focus on building software without having to worry about infrastructure issues.
  3. IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service). In this layer of service computing it allows for self-service assessing, managing, and monitoring of remote data center infrastructure. Services offered in this layer are policy-driven and can be automated to perform greater tasks in line with the specific business need the orchestration can include detailed billing component, backup or even replication and recovery.

CLOUD DEPLOYMENT METHODS

  1. Private Cloudis a cloud infrastructure that is used by only one organization. The organization can choose to have the cloud remotely located if it is being externally hosted or, they can choose to have on-premise private cloud which ensures a heightened security and the owners can exercise some form of physical control however, the latter option might be more expensive for the company.
  2. Public Cloud. Cloud services in this system are delivered over a public network meaning the clients have no control over the location of the infrastructure. The costs incurred are however small compared to the private cloud since they are shared between users or paid in the form of licenses. The sharing of applications and resources make their performance to be highly efficient, though, they are vulnerable to attacks.
  3. Hybrid Cloud. This type of cloud services uses both private and public portfolios, but each remains separated. Resource management can either be done internally or externally depending on the clients’ preference. This model is used especially with firms that want a flexible service that can be scaled upward and is secure.
  4. Community Cloud. Refers to a shared infrastructure between organizations that are in the same community, the firms share the same security concerns and performance class. This form of cloud application is recommended for organizations that work in joint ventures that need a centralized system.
